THE ROLE OF THE PHYSICAL EDUCATION CLASS IN THE ADAPTATION AND SOCIAL INTEGRATION OF PUPILS

Sports practice is a means of socializing the individual and providing him with extensive experiences and skills that enable him to adapt and integrate with his society. Sports practice has an effective role in creating a state of satisfaction and achieving the individual’s desire and tendency to practice what he likes and prefers from games because of the activities and sporting events they contain. It is also considered an important educational mediator in the socialization of adolescents. In line with this problem, this contribution represents a field investigation that was conducted in Tlemcen town, specifically in the secondary school of the Brothers Benazza in the municipality of Souani, with a sample of students of both sexes amounting to 25 cases. On methodological plan, our research uses semi-directive interview and leans principally on a qualitative approach.
