THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN JOB SATISFACTION AND TURNOVER INTENTION AND THE MODERATORS AFFECTING THIS ‎RELATIONSHIP: A META-ANALYSIS STUDY IN TURKEY

The relationship between job satisfaction and turnover intention is important for the managers. The aim of this ‎study is determining the moderators affecting the relationship between job satisfaction and turnover intention by ‎surveying this relationship in Turkey. In this study, the relationship between job satisfaction and turnover ‎intention was analysed by using meta-analysis. 30,703 studies were eliminated eventually and it was noticed ‎that 46 of them are suitable for this meta-analysis. In order to form the sample group, 30703 studies are ‎reviewed. The databases of YOK, ULAKBIM, Google Scholar, Proquest, Proquest dissertations, Elsevier and ‎EBSCOhost are used to perform the literature review. The sample group included 15143 study subjects. The ‎findings showed that there is a negative correlation between job safisfaction and turnover intention, besides the ‎type of industry is a moderator of this relationship‎‎‎‎.
