THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN JOB SATISFACTION AND TURNOVER INTENTION AND THE MODERATORS AFFECTING THIS RELATIONSHIP: A META-ANALYSIS STUDY IN TURKEY
The relationship between job satisfaction and turnover intention is important for the managers. The aim of this study is determining the moderators affecting the relationship between job satisfaction and turnover intention by surveying this relationship in Turkey. In this study, the relationship between job satisfaction and turnover intention was analysed by using meta-analysis. 30,703 studies were eliminated eventually and it was noticed that 46 of them are suitable for this meta-analysis. In order to form the sample group, 30703 studies are reviewed. The databases of YOK, ULAKBIM, Google Scholar, Proquest, Proquest dissertations, Elsevier and EBSCOhost are used to perform the literature review. The sample group included 15143 study subjects. The findings showed that there is a negative correlation between job safisfaction and turnover intention, besides the type of industry is a moderator of this relationship.
