The housing deficit in the city of Al-Rifai contributed to the emergence of the phenomenon of random housing, which began to take over large parts of the city, swallowing up not insignificant areas at the expense of other land uses, and leaving negative effects on the urban, social, economic and service aspects, in addition to the high levels of pollution in these areas as they are not It is based on suitable environmental conditions or planned areas, and the choice of the place is not made on a well-studied basis, but rather it is done arbitrarily and not taking into account any of the health conditions for the establishment of housing or the health of the individuals residing in it, which contributed to the search for Iraqi laws and legislation and access to the treatments that are used to treat The phenomenon of random housing in the city of Al-Rifai and offers a solution using modern GIS techniques
