THE SELF-CONCEPT OF THE PALESTINIAN WORKING WOMAN IN TERMS OF SOME ECONOMIC, SOCIAL AND EDUCATIONAL VARIABLES

This study aims to identify the self-concept of the Palestinian working women in terms of some economic, social and educational variables and differences in each of them depending on the variables: age, educational level, address, marital status and income level. In this study, the analytical descriptive approach was used by applying the self-concept scale to an available sample of (238)working women. The results of the study showed that the arithmetic mean of the self-concept of the Palestinian working women as a whole was (14.4). they also showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the arithmetic averages of the sample members' responses scores of the self-concept scale of the Palestinian working women that are attributed to the variable of sex, income level, age, marital status and address. The results also showed that there were statistically significant differences in the arithmetic mean of self-concept that are attributed to the educational level for those whose educational level is less than secondary.
