THE EFFECT OF EMPLOYEE MOTIVATION STRATEGIES ON JOB PERFORMANCE

This study investigates the effects of employee motivation strategies on business performance. The research analyzed various motivation theories (such as Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, Herzberg's Double Factor Theory, McClelland's Achievement, Power and Relationship Need Theory, Vroom's Expectancy Theory) and strategies based on these theories and the job performance of employees. In this context, the effects of internal and external motivation factors affecting the employee on the employee's job performance were evaluated multidimensionally. The study was conducted on data collected through a survey from 451 people working in businesses in Baku, Azerbaijan. The collected data were analyzed in SPSS 25.01 program. In the analysis of the data, respectively; Reliability and normality analyses, descriptive statistics, correlation and hypothesis tests were used. At the end of the research, a positive significant relationship was found between employee motivation strategies and job performance. The results provide valuable information on how motivational strategies can be adapted in global and multicultural business environments.
