THE EFFECT OF A TRAINING CURRICULUM ACCORDING TO THE NUMBER OF ARM STROKES IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF SOME KINEMATIC VARIABLES AND THE ACHIEVEMENT OF 50-METER FREESTYLE SWIMMING AT AGES (13-15) YEARS
The aim of the research is to prepare a training curriculum based on reducing the number of arm strokes in a 50-meter freestyle swim at the ages of (13-15) years, and knowing the effect of the training curriculum based on reducing the number of arm strokes in developing some kinematic variables (strike length, number of strokes) and achievement 50-meter freestyle swimming at ages (13-15) years, and the experimental method was used in the manner of the experimental and control groups with pre and post tests, on a sample of Baghdad club swimmers aged (13-15) years, and their number (12) swimmers, and they were divided into two experimental groups And the control group of each group consisted of (6) players, and a pre-test was conducted using the underwater camera for each swimmer when completing a 50-meter freestyle swim to calculate the length of the blow, the number of blows and the time of completion, and after applying the training curriculum that lasted for (8) weeks by three units. Weekly, and the duration of each training unit is (60) minutes, in which free swimming exercises are given at distances of (25, 50, 100) meters, and with different intensity depending on reducing the number of blows as the training units progress while maintaining the performance time, and then the post-test was conducted, The researchers reached several conclusions The most important crowns are the effectiveness of the training curriculum according to the number of arm strokes in developing some kinematic variables (strike length, number of strokes) and the achievement of 50-meter freestyle swimming at ages (13-15) years. The traditional approach prepared by the trainer did affect the development of some kinematic variables (stroke length) The number of strokes) swimming achievement (50) meters, the preference of the training curriculum prepared by the researcher for the traditional method prepared by the coach in developing some kinematic variables (strike length, number of strokes) swimming achievement (50) meters.
