THE DEGREE TO WHICH GOVERNMENT KINDERGARTEN TEACHERS POSSESS HEALTH EDUCATION SKILLS FROM THE POINT OF VIEW OF SUPERVISORS, AND THE DEGREE TO WHICH CHILDREN PRACTICE THEM FROM THE POINT OF VIEW OF PARENTS

This study aimed to reveal the degree of which kindergarten teachers possess health education skills for children throughout the supervisors' point of view, and the degree of which children practice them from the parents' point of view. The study sample consisted of (101) teachers from government kindergartens who were evaluated by (101) supervisors, from The Directorates of Education, Hebron and Ramallah. The study used a questionnaire about the degree to which kindergarten teachers possessed the skills of health education for children, and also followed the descriptive approach by the survey method. The study concluded that the kindergarten teachers’ possession of health education skills was in great degrees in the sub-domains and on the scale as a whole, with an arithmetic average of (134.07) with a weight Relative (74.48%) and to a large extent also according to the test, and the results of the fields came according to the following order: The first field is personal hygiene (with a relative weight of 78.55%), the second field is healthy nutrition (with a relative weight of 77.82), and the fourth field is diseases and prevention (with a relative weight of 76.32%). ), and the third domain was public safety (with a relative weight of 71.5%), while the fifth domain was environmental health (with a relative weight of 74.48%). This result shows that there is an interest by female teachers in health education, and that children’s practice of health education skills from the point of view of parents In large degrees in the sub-domains, and the scale as a whole, where the arithmetic average of the scale as a whole (153.61) came with a relative weight (78.78%) and a large degree according to the test, and the fields came in the following order: The first area was personal hygiene (with a relative weight of 85.93%), followed by The fourth field (with a relative weight of 82.65%), followed by the fifth field (with a relative weight of 80.1%), followed by the third field (with a relative weight of 78.47%), and the second field came in the last order (with a relative weight of 72.7%), all of them to a large extent except for the first field came to a large degree The result is the reflection of teachers' interest in health education on children's behavior. The study also found that there are statistically significant differences between the averages of the supervisors’ estimates of kindergarten teachers’ possession of health education skills in public schools due to the variable of academic qualification in favor of graduate studies, and there are statistically significant differences at the significance level (0.05≥α) in the averages of the supervisors’ estimates of possessing Kindergarten teachers for the skills of health education as a whole in public schools, due to the variable of specialization, the university qualification of the kindergarten teacher between (child education, primary education) and in favor of child education. ‎
