MODERN GEOGRAPHICAL TRENDS ACCORDING TO AL-BALKHI
The science of geography arose among Muslims from a simple origin, then this science began to develop and grow gradually little by little until it became one of the most important Arab sciences, and it occupied a prominent position in world literature and until it became a science standing by itself. It went through several stages, and Al-Balkhi had a great and prominent role in these stages. The research concluded that the scholar Al-Balkhi has a group of Arabic books, which had a great role, so that the science of geography took its paths towards development and social, philosophical, natural, economic and other developments.
