THE STATE’S GENERAL BUDGET DEFICIT : A SOCIOECONOMIC STUDY OF THE PHENOMENON’S REPERCUSSIONS AND ITS TREATMENT IN NORTH AFRICAN COUNTRIES (MOROCCO - ALGERIA - TUNISIA - EGYPT AS A MODEL

This study aims to analyze the phenomenon of the budget deficit and identify its causes in Morocco-Algeria-Tunisia-Egypt, and know the mechanisms that countries adopt to confront the deficit through a set of mechanisms. As it turns out that, the budget deficit is a structural deficit linked to the continued increase in public spending and the weakness of public revenues, as the economies of these countries remain hostage to policies with limited horizons in light of the weakness of alternative financing sources of a sustainable nature.
