THE MEDIA AND ITS IMPACT ON THE CULTURE AND VALUES OF SOCIETY
The new transformations in the field of media have led to the emergence of a new and global media system that transcends the local, and affects the sociocultural frameworks of societies, as it carries with it multiple cultural and social crises, including the identity crisis that we could not overcome, on the other hand, societies that rely heavily on cultures coming from societies with which we have radical differences at the level of language, religion and belonging, whose cultures were imposed thanks to their control over the contents of the media and their production without much resistance on our part, and thus formed an alternative to our cultural identity, which we have not resolved our dispute about, and therefore can we wonder about the impact that the media can have on the culture and values of society.
