THE CONTRIBUTION OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH TO ENHANCING CHANGE LEADERSHIP AMONG ACADEMIC LEADERS AT YARMOUK UNIVERSITY FROM THEIR POINT OF VIEW
This study aimed to identify the extent to which scientific research contributes to enhancing change leadership among academic leaders at Yarmouk University from their point of view. The study used the descriptive analytical method. The study tool consisted of a questionnaire consisting of 22 items distributed over three areas; It was applied to a random sample of (65) academic leaders at Yarmouk University. The results indicated that the degree of scientific research’s contribution to promoting change leadership among academic leaders at Yarmouk University came with a total average of (3.74) high degree, and at the level of sub-fields; The field of "administrative and technical affairs" got the highest arithmetic average (3.81), then the field of "administrative legislation" with a mean of (3.77), and thirdly the field of "academic and teaching affairs" with a mean of (3.67). The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level (α ≤ 0.05) about the estimations of the sample members due to the variable of occupational rank, and the presence of statistically significant differences due to the variable of college and in favor of scientific colleges, and the variable of years of experience in favor of a category less than 10 years.
