REASONS FOR PARENTS' RELUCTANCE TO ENROLL THEIR INTEGRATED SON WITH SPECIAL NEEDS IN THE REGULAR CLASS TO THE SPECIAL CLASS IN THE REGULAR SCHOOL

The current study aimed to know the reasons for the parents' reluctance to enroll their integrated son with special needs in the regular class to the special class in the regular school. The researcher used the descriptive analytical approach, where the researcher developed a questionnaire and distributed it to a sample of (384) of the educational staff and parents who have Students with learning difficulties. It has been statistically analyzed, and the results have revealed that the most important factors that lead to the parents' reluctance to enroll their integrated son with special needs in the regular class to the special class in the regular school are factors related to the parents themselves, followed by factors from the special class, followed by factors related to the behavior of Students, and in the penultimate rank are factors related to the professional and personal competencies of the teacher. In the last place, administrative factors. The results also showed that there were no differences in the reasons for the parents’ reluctance to enroll their integrated son with special needs in the regular class to the special class in the regular school due to the study variables (gender, scientific qualification, respondent type).
