MISERLINESS AND ITS IMPACT ON SPENDING - AN ISLAMIC ECONOMIC VISION

Miserliness is considered one of the economic, social and psychological vice behaviors, and it is a moral strike that leads to harm to man and society, and Islam has vigorously fought it through the provisions of the Holy Qur’an and what was reported from the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), which stresses the necessity of spending as an economic, social and faith-based work that pervades Its benefit to society, and the spenders attain God’s pleasure (PBUH). The research was divided into five sections. The first topic dealt with the concept of miserliness, its causes, and its ruling. The second topic dealt with miserliness in the Holy Qur’an, while the third topic dealt with miserliness in the light of the Prophet’s Sunnah. As for the fourth topic, it focused on miserliness in Islamic thought, while the fifth topic dealt with the effects of miserliness. Miserliness in spending. The research ended with a conclusion and recommendations.
