MEASURING THE IMPACT OF ECONOMIC STABILITY ON FINANCIAL SUSTAINABILITY IN IRAQ FOR THE PERIOD (2004-2020)
The research discussed the impact of economic stability on financial sustainability in Iraq, and annual data was adopted for indicators of economic stability as an independent variable and indicators of financial sustainability as a dependent variable for the period (2004-2020)). On the stability of the time series of the research variables at the level, except for the growth rate of the budget deficit, it settled at the first difference, between the research a direct relationship between the growth of GDP and the ratio of public debt to GDP through the cointegration test and the existence of a long-term equilibrium relationship in addition to the adoption of the ARDL approach To measure the effect of economic stability on the growth rate of the general budget deficit, the research shows that the direct relationship between economic stability and the growth rate of the public budget deficit is a long-term equilibrium relationship, and that the models estimated by standard methods are distributed normal, and that errors are stable and free from the problem of autocorrelation and the problem of heterogeneity
