COMBATING CYBER-TERRORISM CRIME IN THE JORDANIAN LAW
Cyber-terrorism is one of the serious crimes that have emerged as a result of the scientific and technological revolution. This revolution has been negatively exploited, causing serious damages to all societies. Accordingly, the international community developed the Convention on Cybercrime in Budapest in 2001. The cyber-terrorism crime is a form of traditional terrorism crimes that are addressed under the Jordanian Anti-terrorism Law. This crime results in significant economic, military and human losses. This crime has been increasing and the methods of addressing it have been varied from time to time. This crime has become easily committed due making Internet accessible to all. Accordingly, this paper is divided into two topics. The first topic deals with the concept of the cyber-terrorism crime, and the second one discusses the legal framework of the cyber-terrorism crime.
