CHILD PLAY: ITS IMPORTANCE AND FIELDS IN THE URBAN SETTING
This study aims to identify the importance of play and its role in child development and satisfying his psychological, social and educational needs, and the importance of play spaces and their role in urban planning. And standing on the reality of playing spaces in Algeria. The study reached a set of results, the most important of which is that play areas allow the child to meet his different needs and tendencies, carry out his activities freely, and work on developing his personality and perceptions. Therefore, attention must be paid to it in urban planning for its effective role in giving vent to the child and liberating him from the reality full of restrictions in order to improve the quality of life in the city. Through our examination it was found that the areas of play still need a lot of improvement in terms of planning, completion and follow-up
