ATTENTION DEFICIT HYPERACTIVITY DISORDER AND ITS RELATIONSHIP TO SOME VARIABLES AMONG CHILDREN WITH AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER IN THE CITY OF MISURATA (FROM THE POINT OF VIEW OF SPECIALISTS)
This research aims to identify the degree of availability of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and its relationship to some variables among autistic children in the city of Misurata from the point of view of specialists. Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder at the Comprehensive Disability Centers and Nour El Ghad in the city of Misurata during the year (2021) and the Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) test was used as a research tool prepared by Dr. (Abdul Raqib Ahmed Al-Behairy 2011). The results revealed that the combined attention deficit hyperactivity disorder indicators are available to a moderate degree among children with autism, and there is no statistically significant relationship between attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and the degree of autism, and there is no statistically significant relationship between ADHD and its variables. Gender and age, and the results also found that there were no statistically significant differences between ADHD and the variables of age and gender among autistic children, while the results resulted in the presence of statistically significant differences between ADHD and the variable degree of autism in favor of the severe degree. Therefore, the researcher recommends the use of behavioral treatment programs with religious children suffering from ADHD, especially the severe degree of them, and training specialists within the center and the families of these children on how to deal with them and using these behavioral and cognitive therapeutic programs to reduce the effects of this disorder.
