ARCHAEOLOGICAL WRITINGS ON PULPITS IN THE CIVILIZATION OF THE ISLAMIC MAGHREB BY SOME MODELS- FORM AND CONTENT

The Forms Of Biblical Texts On Wooden Pulpits In The Islamic Maghreb Vary, They Differ In Terms Of The Types Of Fonts In Which They Are Written, As Well As In Terms Of Decorations, Whether Botanical Or Geometrical. Which Appear Merged With The Letters Or Represent Their Floors, To Highlight Them And Increase Their Beauty, The Content Of Biblical Texts On These Pulpits Includes A Number Of Phrases, Including Propaganda Phrases, Religious Formulas, Slogans, Verses From The Holy Quran Or Suras That Take Up Space In The Text Or Serve As Independent Frames Or Friezes. From This Point Of View, We Will Try To Highlight The Importance Of Archaeological Writings On Wooden Pulpits In The Civilization Of The Islamic Maghreb In Terms Of Their Form And Content, Starting With The Pulpit Of The Mosque Of Kairouan, The Pulpit Of The Mosque Of Zaytouna In Tunisia, The Pulpit Of The Great Mosque Of The Great Mosque In Algeria, And The Pulpit Of The Mosque Of The Villagers In Fez.
